Interview with Flore Carron de la Carrière, Account Manager

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Flore and I am 28 years old. I've been a salesperson for 4 years. I've lived in San Francisco, Paris, Slovenia and Buenos Aires.

Why did you decide to join Modjo?

The demonstration Paul, our CEO, gave me of the tool completely blew me away. I was disappointed not to have been able to use it in my previous experiences. Now that I've joined the company, I use it every day and it helps me enormously to understand our customers and meet their expectations.

What's day-to-day work like at Modjo?

It's sporty, to say the least, but very rewarding. It's often funny, sometimes tiring, but always unique. No two days are alike, but you always feel you're contributing to a great human adventure.

What is an account manager?

When I started at Modjo, I was an Account Manager. Recently, I changed positions to become an Account Manager. As an AM, I'm responsible for listening to the customer and providing the best possible service on a daily basis.

As General Manager of Club Med, my job is to ensure that the customer experience is unforgettable, thanks to our data and product team. In particular, I pass on all our customers' requests to them, so that they can include them in our roadmap.

A funny anecdote about you?

I can't watch soccer with other people. I need to concentrate too much, and having people around distracts me.

What would you say to a candidate to convince him or her to join Modjo?

Modjo's potential is enormous. Every week we welcome new companies (PayFit, Doctolib, Alan recently) and excellent colleagues. It's incredible to experience.

How do you get started in sales?

It's like riding a bike: you only need a few calls to learn, and that's it. You learn by doing.

My experience has taught me that with motivation and (a lot of) practice, you're capable of much more than you think.

What skill do you use on a daily basis?

Organization.

When you're a salesperson, you have to juggle different offers, prioritize and build intensity. It's one of the most important skills. Yet nobody talks about it.

Your best Modjo memory?

My first day in Modjo's new Sentier offices. The feeling that the company is growing (very) fast, but in good conditions, is very cool.

Our new premises are very pleasant and bright.

Your greatest victory?

I certainly haven't experienced it yet.
